Yogi Park

We had a wonderful opportunity to go to Yogi Bear Park in Robert, La. this past week for 2 days. The Kids and I went with our cousins Kasey & Ethan and had a blast. Pam and Ashton (Our Cousins) came hang out with us for the day on Wednesday also. We swam, played putt-putt golf, swam, sang in a contest, painted, swam, went boating, went on hayrides, oh and swam some more! We could not have had better weather for the 2 days we were there. Kam and Gabby had an awesome time the whole time we were there. My guys swim like they are little fish and Lucy, well she thinks she is a fish. Lucy loves being in the pool, she would splash and laugh the whole time she was in the pool. She also ran fever the whole time we were there, such a bummer. I tried to blame it on teething, but Kasey (being a nurse) convinced me that 103.7 was to high for teething, and wouldn't you know, 2 ear infections was the cause. (Thanks K.K. for telling my mommy to take me to the doctor, I love you - LUCY)

On our 2nd day there, Lucy really did not feel well. She woke up around 7 ish, and let everybody else sleep till about 8. That day she would not eat (true sign she did not feal well). Lucy got to have her very first Sweet Tea bottle, I figured it was better than nothing, and let me tell you, she loved it. This is also the day that Ashton & Pam came visit. We had a very full, busy day on our only full day there.

Kam entered the "YOGI IDOL CONTEST". He sang 2 songs and came in 3rd place out of about 10 people, not bad huh! He is such a little performer, He sang "My name is Jane" & Don't you wish your girlfriend was a freak like me". We also played on the playground, played in the sand, Lucy loved the sand, and she never once tried to eat it, Sure Surprised Me! Today we also did our favorite thing about Yogi Park, CRAFT PAINTING!!!

Thursday we left after alot of fun and games. Thanks Pam for making all these memories possible for all of us to share. We will never forget it. We had a blast, look Ethan is even smiling for you!
