Well, after much deliberation, we decided to evacuate for Hurricane Gustav. We packed the house, cleaned the yard, bought candles and left for the Shreveport, La. - Waskom, Tx. area. We took Milkyway, Rexy, Angel, and Sandy (our 4 dogs)with us too! We went strait to Beck's on the first night, while Grammy, Poppy, Jaidyn, Cade & Reiss stayed at Aunt Judy's. The next day, we played at Becks for a good while, then went to Aunt Judy's for lunch. Christy and her Crew made it to Aunt Judy's also - Talk about a full house. Back at Becks, we rode there four wheelers, got to see there horses, played with Josh and Dylan, our dogs got to play with there dogs. We ALL (Except Milkyway) had a blast and were really sad to leave. The kids are hoping for another Hurricane, just simply so we can go back to Becks!!

Looks like Beck and family are living the life that we had in the country. We had four wheelers, paths in the woods, horses, cows, rodeo pens and calves to rope. There is always fun going on with that kind of life but it also comes with hard work. But that can be fun also. Glad ya'll made it there and back safely.
