Fountinblue State Park - Cub Scout Trip!!

On Sat. April 25th we went to Fountinblue State Park where Kams group of Cub Scouts were having a camping trip. We did only make it a day trip since we are kinda expecting Miss. Gracy at anytime and camping would not have been very much fun. We had never been to this state park, even though it only took about 25 - 30 minutes to get there. Let me tell you, this is a really nice state park. It has a real beach, with sand, very similar to Biloxi Beach but without all the tons of people. We even found if you walk down from where the pear is, there are cypress trees to sit under for shade and the water was really nice. Of course Craig and I did not bring extra clothes, so needless to say, Craig went home WET!! I was not sure what Lucy would say about all the sand getting all over her and the waves splashing her, but she LOVED IT!! Gab and Kam could have stayed for hours (and we did)! I must also tell you, we had no camera that day, so all the pictures came from Craig's camera phone, so not the best pictures, but still priceless!!
